Here it is Labor Day weekend over & boy what a difference at the campgrounds!!! On the weekends, there are still a few stragglers, but during the week.....Lennie & I are the only people out there!!!

September 6,2014 Today Lennie & I are going to Chicago. Since we will be gone too long for Otis, Otis is going to have to go to the Dog Kennel! We've used this kennel before, & Kennel is not the right word for this place, this is a Pet Resort down on the farm!

Our goal for today is just to have fun doing the things we miss in Chicago! Like eating, the skyline, downtown, Navy Pier, & luck would have it......tonight at Navy Pier was Venetian Night(boat parade) We haven't seen Venetian Night in YEARS!!!!

We hadn't eaten since our Italian beef, now it's after 9:00pm, everything was closing!!!! We managed to find a restaurant open! We always seem to manage!!!!
Then that LOOOOONNNG drive back from Chicago to the countryside! We didn't get back to the campgrounds till after 1:00am!!! Good thing Otis was "at the farm"!?!
