Tuesday June 10, 2014 Today was one of those good ole loafing days!!! Not totally loafing, I did do 2 loads of laundry after breakfast!?!

On our way to the dog park, we caught someone else loafing!
Now that we are COMPLETELY set-up<- Note awning out!?!
Let the loafing begin!
And so we do, right up into the evening. After dinner we take Otis for his nightly walk through the RV Park
we see some of our "friends"!
It felt good doing nothing for a change!
Wednesday June 11, 2014 I feel another day of loafing coming on!?! But maybe not!!!! Every morning BEFORE I even awake Lennie starts his day by walking, I'm going to join him one of these mornings!!!
It's 2 miles from the park to the highway & back, but it's up & down hills! I'm still going to join him but not this morning!
Otis & I head to the dog park after breakfast & we see our "friend" still loafing! The deer, don't even flinch when I walk by with Otis!
Lennie had a little handyman work to do, a piece of the trim
work was loose.......

After another day of relaxing, I knit a ruffle scarf, & finished a loom knit hat.....Lennie & Otis enjoyed quality time, now it's time to get ready for dinner, & this doesn't mean firing up the grill...
.we're going out to eat!!! We're going to Rudy's BBQ!!!
We are very familiar with Rudy's as the original restaurant in Texas (outside San Antonio) we frequented quite often the short year we lived in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas.
Tonight dinner will be special!

Just so happens some friends of ours from our Florida RV Club, are also here in Colorado Springs. We called them in advance & agreed to meet up at Rudy's for dinner tonight. It's so good to see someone you know! They are staying at the KOA, while we are staying at Mountaindale.The Dumonts, Rich & Joan, at one time lived in Colorado, in fact in this area. Their son still lives here. Rich & Joan are suppose to be vacationing, but in fact are "working"!?! Through their son, they met a group that is involved in flipping "Grow-Houses" .Rich & Joan have been busy cleaning & painting these buildings, that will turn into LEGAL grow houses, for Medical Marijuana! I'm glad they had time for dinner!!!!
Rudy's is a fun place to eat, not only the atmosphere.....
but the food is good too!!!
2 1/2 hours after arriving at Rudy's we left....
We had a great time!!!
It rained pretty hard while we were enjoying our meal & company at Rudy's. The rain had stopped but the darkness of the evening was upon us. Lennie doesn't like to be out till dark because the mountain road back to the campgrounds....you never know when a deer is going to jump out! In spite of the deer fear factor, Lennie still stopped at McDonalds.........

Those deer are so beautiful. Amazing that they aren't afraid of people!! OOOhhhhh, those ribs look so delicious! Your site looks very homey and a wonderful place to relax for a month. Wish it was me!!! LOL
