July 7-July 9, 2016-BACK IN ILLINOIS-Worn out by Grandkids!!!

Thursday July 7, 2016- Today is the day we planned over 2 weeks ago!!!We told the Williams kids since all 3 of them were on the Honor Roll the whole school year, instead of just buying them some type a prize, we wanted to do something special with them. I kinda wanted to go bowling but they picked MAGIC WATERS!!!! Lennie was probably happy since he's a non swimmer....all he has to do is watch us....oh yeah & pay entrance fee! It's a little overcast but that's good since I burn easily!!!We're going to start off with lunch instead of trying to eat inside the park $$$$$$ !?! We chose Burger King, time factor & it was agreeable with everyone!!!! Thank goodness they are all old enough to know & choose what they want!!!

Magic Waters in Cherry Valley was only less than 10 minutes from our lunch at Burger King, but.....in that short drive it started raining, so far just sprinkling! Even so, unless there's lightening....the park will stay open.There's a lot to do here & they want to do it all! ME???? Not so much, all I'm interested in is the WAVE POOL & the Lazy River, the rest of the water stuff is for KIDS!!!!

                                       

 After a quick trip to the WAVE POOL the kids wanted to go on the other water things! I told them I would take pictures!!!

Lennie's suppose to be "watching us" but looks like he's just running his mouth!?! And.....we found out later he'd been into the snacks!!!

They chose this to start....

            You have to carry your own tube up stairs to ride this! Dylan & Trinity teamed up......

                                   Somehow Dylan fell off the tube & rode down on his butt!

                                                            Joe, Courtney & Zach followed......!

                                         I could have done that if I wasn't taking pictures!!!!

                        Next water ride, once again you have to carry your tube UP the stairs!?!

Then.......they chose this ride! The DOUBLE DARE!!!! Trinity & I were the only ones SMART enough NOT to ride this!!!

After the Double Dare.....we rode in the Lazy River....even I did that, & then back to the wave pool which is really my very favorite!!!

Lennie is now in control of the camera!!!

The Wave Pool is really fun! It's time to check-in with Lennie! He tells us the kids can ride one more ride then we have to leave, Stacy has invited us over for Spaghetti dinner!😋😋😋 The kids talked me into riding the ride with them! OH Nooooooo!!!!

                                                        I screamed all the way down!!!

                        The hardest part was getting OUT of the tube at the end of the ride!!!

                                    There is no graceful way to dismount from the tube!!!

We had a nice dinner at Guy & Stacy's as we leave, we synchronize a time for tomorrow....another big day!!!

As I climbed into bed tonight I told Lennie....."Those kids wore me out!"
