June 29-July 5, 2016-Still in Wisconsin~TWO leisurely days in TWO Rivers, Wisc

Friday July 1, 2016-This is the 4th of July weekend!🎆🎇 🎆Everyone knows the celebration of the 4th doesn't start on the 4th of July! Oh noooooo, there's all those people who can't wait till the 4th to start setting off their little fireworks & some big boomer, & all you pet owners know this is a rough weekend for dogs. As I work on my blog, an occasional firecracker goes off & Otis can't get any closer to me than he is!
This is the night, if he wasn't already sleeping with us, that he would be.......

I wouldn't say today was a do nothing day, but we did take it easy & No bike ride either!!!
Looks like we're off to a nice start, not suppose to be as warm, that means Otis can ride with us & no problem if he has to sit in the car for a bit, with Lennie, that doesn't happen much! We're going to drive over to Door County just to check out some of the Farm Markets. Not sure if the cherries are in peak season yet or not???? It's a nice country ride of about 45 miles & back.
Lennie has already researched places to stop, hoping for samples!
                                                        First Stop~Grandma Tommy's~
Samples for sure, but cherry aren't peak till mid July.....

                                                                        "I'll wait here"
You can see the trees are just loaded with cherries!

What a pleasant surprise!!! Lunch at Wilsons Drive-In!

We got it to go sooooo Otis could sit with us! Did I mention Wilson's have HOME-MADE Root Beer!?!
                                                                     Our lunch view
"Hurry up Wen, I want to check out the next Farm Market!!!!"
                                                               And so we did!!
Then I got to visit a GIFT SHOP!!!! Didn't buy anything, just looking around!?!
Cute little Garden Items at the gift shop.
Not a bad view either. We're done looking at Farm Markets, we're heading back to Two Rivers!  We didn't go STRAIGHT back to Two Rivers......

We first stopped at Cave Point Park

Boy.....Otis NEVER thought he'd be on top of a rock again!

                                                                 Look how brave Otis is!!!

Whoa!!!!! Did we make a wrong turn somewhere!?! Nope! Unincorporated ALASKA, Wisconsin!

When we got back to the RV Park, we fed & pottied Otis, then Lennie & I headed over to the VFW for a fish fry dinner, something we had planned in advance!
I know I'm having COD!

Lennie had monkfish, I did have Cod!
After we paid for our dinner, we had to make one more stop at the Piggly Wiggly, we haven't been in a Piggly Wiggly grocery store in years!

"Somebody" else was waiting in the car while his Master was in the Piggly Wiggly!

Another Sunset MASTERPIECE!!!!
Saturday July 2, 2016-
After breakfast we give Otis the bad news that he ISN'T going with us today!!!!  We're not going to be gone long, we're just going into Two River & Manitowoc to check out their Saturday Farmer's Market!
How about that! We parked our car right by one of my relatives stores! (Not really one of my relatives as ERICKSON wasn't originally our family name!)
The Two Rivers Farmers Market is REAL SLIM!?!

The story behind Two Rivers claim to fame:The place where the Sundae was invented!

We drove to Manitowoc, 6 miles away, a much bigger town, & a bigger Farmer's Market.
See Otis.....this is why you had to stay home
A bigger Farmer's Market, all we bought was a jar of Vandalia Pickle relish!
Okay....I know.....Otis called!!! So time to go home & loaf till dinner time.
Tonight is homemade Pizza night! Lennie is really happier about having pizza than he looks! Actually NASCAR is on & I think he was looking at the race when I snapped the picture!?!

Here's tonight's sunset! WOW!!!! Better than fireworks!

Have to look back at my photos and see if we were at the same ones.
