June 14, 2015-Sunday-After all that rain....I mean it rained sooooo hard on the ride back home from the train station there was times Lennie couldn't even see the road to drive!!! But we woke up to a beautiful day! I need to do laundry we are taking off tomorrow! Lennie loads & covers our bikes, prepping for tomorrow's take-off.
Lennie also swept off all the leaves & acorns & whatever else might be all over the roof from all the rain we've had during our visit here!
With laundry done, it's time to go pick up Otis. He didn't even want me to do laundry, he wanted me to pick him up the moment our eyes opened!
Nancy had asked us earlier to plan on staying,Eric was going to barbecue. We knew we just couldn't pick up Otis & leave, & a BBQ always sounds good!!!When we arrived the kids....ALL THE KIDS, were enjoying the pool!
I wish I would have brought my suit...it was hot out!
What we didn't know was.....this BBQ was a birthday party for Eric & Nancy's grandson, Troy who turned 2!
Kind of awkward for us....we came empty handed, well we didn't know we were walking into a birthday party! We enjoyed the cake & BBQ!
Eric & Nancy breed Golden doodles, Standard poodles & Bernese Mountain. All 3 mother dogs had litters days apart! There was 27 puppies (caged!) at the house! I am holding a Bern doodle. Some of the puppies have already been spoken for. Lennie said I couldn't have one....they sure were cute, but they will grow to be good size dogs, too big to travel in an RV, at least to big to travel in an RV with Otis!!!
We better head back, we're leaving in the morning! Time to say Good-bye to the Erickson CROWD!!!
Otis is glad one of those puppies is NOT in the car with us!!!
