May 30, 2015-Saturday-No walking today for either one of us! Today we are going to Trinity's graduation party up in Garden Prairie. It's a long drive, & even longer for us because first we have to drop Otis off in Steward with Izzy! We are giving her the opportunity to dog sit Otis!!! There's no pictures on this subject yet.......Otis didn't want to stay! Maybe I should mention that Otis suffers from separation anxiety & Lennie has that dog sooooooo spoiled!I will take pictures when we pick Otis up!!!
Next we pick up Kevin in North Aurora. On Thursday Kevin suggested we just get a room closer to the graduation activities to save on some of the driving, at his expense.....& since Otis was going to be with Miss Izzy....that's what we did! After picking up Kevin, who was wearing shorts!!!!! Guess he didn't listen to the weather report, lucky for him he threw a pair of blue jeans into his overnight bag!!! Next is Reese up in St. Charles. Now we're on our way & it's been raining, the temperature steady dropping. We reached our destination in Garden Prairie where Stacy & Guy were doing their best to make Trinity's graduation party a success in spite of the weather. Before getting out of the car, Kevin changed into his blue jeans!!!

Then Guy announced that the Graduation cake & opening of gifts was taking place INSIDE! Oh good....warmth!!!

Now we're off to our "sleepover"!!!!I can't believe I didn't get a picture of the hotel, maybe because it was toooooo cold to be standing outside!!! Lennie kept joking about the hotel being a Flea-bag Hotel because it was cheap. We didn't plan on signing a lease, so whatever it is, it is....for one night it'll be fine! Turns out it wasn't bad at all, makes me wish I had gotten a picture, but I did get the sleepover part!!!

May 31, 2015-Sunday-After that GREAT good night sleep, we go to the office to see what kind of continental breakfast they have to offer!!!It's still cold out but at least it's not raining & the wind isn't as bad. Too bad today's weather couldn't have been available yesterday for the graduation party. By the time we all got our showers out of the way it was time to head into Marengo to go to Joe's Place, It seems the whole worked is under construction, well at least all of Illinois! We did run into a few detours due to closed roads & the bridge being out! Right on time we arrived at Joe's Place!
 
We've taken Trinity, Courtney & Dylan here before a couple of times when they lived in Marengo. They have a lot to offer here but what we like is the pizza! Today there was a car show taking place out in the parking lot! GREAT!!!!
         
Now the moment we've been waiting for.....time for graduation!
  
Setting the stage!
        After all the speeches, prayers & presentations, it's time for roll call. Unlike Brett's graduation over 600 students, Trinity is graduating from a class of 162 students!It doesn't take long before the last row of students get up to take their place in the stage line!!!        
AND....IT'S OVER!
        
Actually...it's not over, it's just the beginning of the next stage in her life. Trinity is enrolled at SIU & leaves for college August 20, 2015. She plans to be a Physical Therapist Assistant. Congratulations & Best of Luck Trinity. You've got your head on straight, you will be going places in life!!!

Congrats to Trinity. No pictures on the motel walls??? Odd!!! My fav pic is of everybody in the fire engine. Great photo!! Made Lana's pineapple stuffing tonight. It was very good, but I served it hot, right out of the oven, and I liked it better at room temperature or even cold out of the fridge!!! Much more flavor that way. I will make it again.
