Today is laundry day & anything else that might pop up & if it wasn't for our lunch.....I wouldn't even post today's events! We ate lunch at an Italian buffet & let me tell you....it was like being on a cruise!!! It was such a nice buffet!!!The restaurant in in the town of Glenwood & we've been talking about going there all week!
My FAVORITE Words!!!!It was not your typical buffet, there was different food stations, that's why it felt cruise-like!
Everything was SOOOOOOO Good!!!
They had a DESSERT STATION too!!!!
Oh my, did I eat all those???? Yes I did!
We finally waddled out of the restaurant!
This is a picture of Lennie's half-sister's (Janet) house in Westminster, Colorado. Janet lived less than 10 minutes from the Italian Buffet Restaurant. She could have been at the restaurant & I would have never known as I've never met her, so it's been at least 40 years since Lennie has seen her.....I wanted to knock on her door but Lennie said they haven't communicated in over 40 years so he didn't see the need to knock on her door......curiosity would have gotten the best of me! I wish he would have.....but it was his decision.
While we were at the Italian Buffet I had the good intentions of bringing a little something home to Otis. He's kind of fussy when it comes to eating sooooooo we decided to bring him his favorite, a McDonalds McDouble!!!! Otis is soooooo McSpoiled!!!!
Thanks mom, thanks dad!
Our lunch was tooooooo much for us, making dinner unnecessary! We were going to go fishing but an evening rain put a damper on that idea!
Good-Night!!!!
Otis looks so abused!
It was a nice size Farmer's Market but just too warm to be walking around!
We wanted to go to the Mall (not a typical mall) the name they give to a shopping area in Boulder. NO DOGS allowed. We didn't know this the last time we were here & Otis was with us. Now he's back at the RV suffering in the A/C so we can walk around!
Not a bad way to cool off!Lots of cute & unique shops
street entertainers too!?!
By now Lennie's "hunger alarm" was going off, he was ready for lunch! We left the Boulder Mall & drove to a restaurant Lennie had already researched (of course!) We were now in the college part of Boulder. We had pizza at a restaurant called the SINK. It definitely had that college kids feel about it!
One reason we ate there is.....in his research Lennie learned this restaurant was visited by Guy Fieri & featured on his show DRIVE INS, DINERS & DIVES!
It was also recently visited by President Obama & both autographs are now part of the motif that covers every inch of walls within this restaurant! Not just the walls have art work? The ceilings were covered with past customers signatures!
We looked at the menu, then chose a pizza! It was really good on a Honey wheat crust. They brought a squeeze bottle of honey when they served the pizza? That was one way not to waste any pizza crust!
When we got home......Otis was soooooo happy to see us, can't you tell!?!
We planned to go fishing tonight but again an evening rain put a damper on that thought. Even clouded the sunset. Maybe tomorrow!?!
I love the photo of you with all the desserts. A girl after my own heart LOL!!!!! YUMMY!!!!
