Saturday June 25, 2016- Good-bye Illinois! Our destination today is Milwaukee, Wisconsin not more than an hour away which means we don't have to take off at the crack of dawn! We were pleasantly surprised when Courtney with Joe, & Dylan showed up WITH DONUTS to say "Good-bye" to us!

We took a back road since we aren't in a hurry!

Here we are at Wisconsin State Fair RV Park, in West Allis, Wisconsin.

This is NOT a campground for a family vacation! There's no family amenities here! But it is a campground of convenience for things to do & see around Milwaukee!

We take Otis out for his last potty break. We see & hear the lights & noise from the Greek Festival going on in the adjacent parking lot!

Tomorrow we'll take a little look-see around Milwaukee!

Sunday June 26, 2016-This morning I woke up to the sound of rain!!!! OMG are we ever going to get away from the rain!?!I don't know how long it had been raining before I got up, but it was over by the time we were ready to go see Milwaukee! Lennie had already researched Things to Do & See in Milwaukee. For today, the only planned thing we're going to do is go to the Historic Third Ward area of town for lunch, anything else we do will all be by ear!

Here we are at the Public Market. We have Otis with us which means....we go in one at a time & make a lunch decision. We had gone to a Dog Friendly restaurant before arriving at the Public Market, they were only serving BRUNCH, we weren't that hungry!!!

I went in the Public Market, oh my!!!! So many choices! I settled on a chicken avocado salad, then went outside to Otis & Lennie,

Lennie went in, chose Tamales at the same restaurant my chicken avocado salad was at. That worked out perfectly!

I offered Otis some of my chicken & he refused???What's up with that!?!

Lennie went back inside & got us dessert!!!! Banana split cake!

Oh YUMMMMM!

We couldn't walk around this part of town much because we had handicapped Otis with us! Yes.... he's still limping......

But......Lennie had read about the Fonzie statue(it cost $85,000!) Everybody needs to have their picture taken with Fonzie, even if you weren't a Happy Days fan!!!

Okay Otis.....no more walking for you today we're going to get in the car & drive to the park!

Tonight after dinner Lennie said to me,"Come on, we're going for a ride, there's something I want to show you!" Of course that didn't mean just me......it meant ME & OTIS!!!! You'll never guess where we went!?!
