Saturday June 4, 2016-Today is the BIG day! Today after 8 years of dating Matt & Ashley are saying, "I DO"!!! I am awaken by the steady sound of rain! Oh nooooooo, NOT TODAY PLEASE!!!! The kids have planned an outdoor wedding & even tho they do have a Plan B in case of rain....it has rained almost everyday since we've been here. It doesn't need to rain today!!!I recently heard that it's good luck if it rains on your wedding??? Not sure about that, I bet Ashley feels like crying.......The rain continues......the wedding starts at 5:00pm, there's still time for it to clear up!We'll leave shortly after 3:00pm to get there in time, Leif will come over & ride with us. Until then there's nothing to do but relax till we actually start getting ready.

It's still raining, in fact Leif calls me & asks....."What do ya think about this rain."🌂😖😭 I think it's terrible but I'm not in control of the weather. I just keep thinking Good thing the kids had a Plan B....

It's a little over an hour's drive for us. We drive in & out of rain. Looks like it might clear up!The wedding is held at The Bird Haven Greenhouse in Joliet. It's one of those wedding venues & let me tell you, it was soooooo professional! They did a beautiful job!We arrive & lo & behold.....it's not raining! The wedding facility must have feared the weather wouldn't hold out for the wedding .....& set up seating in the greenhouse(Plan B) mind you this was NOT your typical greenhouse, it was definitely appropriate for a wedding! We arrived in time to mingle before we needed to go sit down, & so....the pictures began!
