May 23-June 24, 2016- Our visit in Illinois-A lot of not much to do Days!

Tuesday June 7, 2016- I know I'm repeating myself when I say, there are a lot of days here when Len & I have nothing to do! I'll be glad when the rest of the family retires!!! On those days, Len sometimes finds a work project & I usually do laundry.

Today would be Lennie's dad's birthday, we're going to ride into Aurora, have lunch at Phillips Park,  & take a balloon to the cemetery.

Then Otis decided to go wandering on his own!!!!

Leaving the cemetery, we just rode around for a while! We went to a couple of  Thrift Shops, not really looking for anything....just looking. We headed back to the Campgrounds, driving through Aurora, & since we were in the neighborhood.....I told Lennie to drive by our first house! 

We bought this house almost 40 years ago & lived there 2 years before Lennie started his buying & selling of homes! I was beginning to think Lennie was part gypsy we moved soooooo much! Over the years we saw our cute little house along with the neighborhood, deteriorate (there use to be a 2 car garage at the end of the drive)Last year when we drove by "our house" we were heart broken, the house looked like it was ready to be condemned.......We were pleasantly surprised when we drove by the house this year!!!! Someone has put a lot of money into repairs!!! "OUR house" looked like a little doll house again! I really wanted to go inside to see what improvements they may have made!                                                 Now we can drive back to the campgrounds!!!

Wednesday June 8, 2016- Rainy, rainy day......

Thursday June 9, 2016- Today starts out rainy, hope it doesn't keep it up. We have plans to meet Tammy, Brett, along with Brittney & her boyfriend Collin, at the Olive Garden for lunch! Oh well....rain or shine the Olive Garden is always a good place to go! We all chose the soup & salad!

We went our separate ways after lunch. I am working on a knitted Mickey & Minnie Mouse hat & wanted to stop at Hobby Lobby for buttons. Lennie waited in the car as he always does when I go to one of those type stores!?!

               Because Otis had to wait at home!!!! He was rewarded with a McDoubles!!!
