May 23-June 24, 2016- Our Illinois visit~Starting to wrap things up~

 Wednesday-June 15, 2016- Our time at Hi-Tide is running out.With family & friends working during our visit, sometimes we are out at the campgrounds for days with nothing to do....now with our time running out we're hustling around to see as many as we can before we leave for our next adventure! Today after lunch we'll drive into Montgomery to have another visit with Ron.

Thursday- June 16, 2016 -Today  we're off to visit Aunt Arlene in Aurora. She's always happy to see us & even happier when she gets our travel postcards!  

 We pulled out of the campgrounds after lunch only to meet a roadblock! Looks like they're going to resurface 22nd Road? We had to reverse a little out of our way, but soon enough heading to Aurora.

 When we arrived at Arlene's house, she told us that Gary & Debby had just left! She wanted them to come back!!! We had a nice visit with Aunt Arlene, Debby & Gary did come back, Debby had one of her grand daughters with her.

             Later on the same day we met Chris & Bill for dinner at Sunfields Restaurant in Yorkville!

Lennie chose this particular restaurant because the sign out front advertised ALL YOU CAN EAT BROASTED CHICKEN.  Lennie had built up a real taste for the broasted chicken after driving by the sign so often!

When the waitress came to take our order & Lennie proudly announced he'd have the ALL YOU CAN EAT broasted chicken, it was like she tossed a glass of cold water in Len's face as she announced,"We DON'T have that..." Lennie told her he could read the sign, All You Can Eat!!!So she went & looked, then went to see the manager!!!! She came back & told Lennie, "Okay....ALL YOU CAN EAT broasted chicken as the sign says...." Made Lennie happy, Bill too as he ordered the same thing!!!

Bill & Chris rode off into the sun set.....

We headed back to the Campgrounds but first stopping at the McDonalds in Sandwich
