Saturday May 28, 2016-This morning, before I really wanted to wake up, I could hear the sound of rain, heavy rain fallingðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ we don't need rain today🌂! I fell back to sleep, I don't know what time it was raining, but by the time I was really suppose to wake up, it had stopped! Thank goodness!
The Graduation Open House is from 1:00pm-? I don't know, I guess till the food runs out!?! You know how I'm always saying I take tooooo many pictures? Well today I didn't take enough!?! I guess I was trying to mingle & forgot about snapping? Too bad cause it was a pretty nice party!
I got all the cousins together for a pictures before they spread out doing their own thing!!!
Kevin was busy cooking on the grill, burgers, brats & hot dogs & I didn't even take a picture of the Grill Master!?! He had a good turnout for the party considering it was Memorial Day weekend & NOT raining!!!! But I didn't get pictures of half the people that showed up! Can we have a "DO-OVER"!?!

Lennie & I were one of the last guests to leave(of course!), tomorrow is the actual graduation!!!We left with the game plan in place that tomorrow we would come back & go to breakfast together before heading out for the graduation!
We were meeting at Tammy's house at 10:30 am, which we arrived promptly. Lennie Ray was lying under Tammy's car with grease up to his elbow. No he wasn't going to breakfast or to the graduation!!!There's always a lot of drama going on at Tammy's house & today was no different! Tammy's car was in need of a repair, Lennie Ray can handle the repair, but there was no way to get the part needed till we showed up with our vehicle.Well there was another way but Brittney wouldn't let anyone use her car, not even to run for parts???? That child needs an attitude adjustment but....that will never happen! Lennie & Brett drove off to get whatever part was needed for the car, upon their return, we headed to the restaurant for breakfast, while Lennie Ray continued to get into grease e repairing Tammy's car. There was no doubt that Lennie Ray could fix the car, the fear was, could he get it done in time for Tammy to drive to Hoffman Estates for the graduation, Brittney already said she wouldn't loan her car out!!!!!😒😂😖
Breakfast was good, & before the bill arrived Lennie Ray had called to Tammy telling her the car was ready! Tammy was relieved & Brittney.....I wonder if it came down to it if she would have let her mother use her car to go to the graduation????
The graduation is being held at the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates, about an hour's drive from Tammy's house. With breakfast over, we still had plenty of time before we needed to leave for Hoffman Estates, Lennie & I take Kevin & Reese to the Fox River for some scenic pre-graduation photo shots!

The Sears Center in Hoffman Estates is HUGE! No wonder no tickets were required. It use to be the old Popular Creek concert auditorium. It's still used for concerts & other big venues.
There's Reese's name in the program! The X after his name stands for him being an Illinois State Scholar student.
During the whole ceremony, a rolling marquee with each students name kept going around. There was over 600 graduating students & with Reese having a "W" last name, I had to watch for a long time before I was able to snap this picture!
The faculty began the procession! Followed by the students!
Again with that "W" last name.....long time before we finally saw Reese!
When we spotted him, Kevin gave a LOUD shout...."REESE"!!!
"That was my dad!"

Reese's last choir performance.....the Senior choir sang the National Anthem, thus beginning the Graduation!
Before we even went into the Sears Center, we told Reese where to meet us after the graduation. It still took awhile before I saw him coming through the crowd!
YEP!!!! We're soooo proud of you!
