Intercourse,Pennsylvania

October 18,2015-Monday- BRRRRRR I think I hear Florida calling my name!!!According to the weather, we are all suppose to have one last chance at an Indian Summer during the week, I hope so. I ate my last piece of pumpkin bread this morning.....I hope to find some sort of replacement while we're over in Amish country! This morning we are pulling out & heading to Intercourse, Pa.
                                                   Good-bye Riverdale Farm Campsite!
                                                                        & we're off......

Going to be passing through New York, just briefly......
                                                             The Tappan Zee Bridge

Should be close to New Jersey on the other side of the bridge....
                                                               Okay....here it comes!
That's what I like about the New England states, so small you can drive through several in a day,

                                                    Now Pennsylvania coming into view!

Look Rhode island....you could have a sign like this!?!
After Pennsylvania "Welcomes" you.....they charge you TOLL!!!
From this point we still have about an hour's drive till we reach the campground, Beacon Hill in Intercourse, Pa.
The scenery is starting to change!
Farm country! Don't know how long before we start seeing the Amish buggies???

It's   cool & drizzly as we pull into the Campground.

We made it, the campground here is small, the spots are real tight, with almost no place to park your tow vehicle, you almost need a shoe horn to park your car!
This is the Amish farm directly behind the campgrounds & yes.....we can smell the cows!

Nice they have a dog run, dogs can go in off leash. Otis doesn't want to miss a single smell!

Then while busy sniffing......he hears his first Amish horse & buggy!
It's while he's busy TRYING to bark at them, we realize he still doesn't have his bark back 100%!

He's ready to go back, he took care of business, & he ran that horse & buggy off!?
Okay Otis, time to call it a night.......
October 19, 2015-Monday- There are several towns close by in this area that we like to poke around in, Lennie LOVES those Farm Market stores, they always have plenty of samples available!?! Today we plan to head into "downtown" Intercourse. Otis will be going along so we don't plan to leave until after lunch. We've already had our morning coffee, & Lennie has already showered. I will take my shower while Lennie takes his exercise walk. First Len takes Otis out to potty, when he brought Otis in....I was already in the bathroom. Len left for his walk & I could hear the panic in Otis! I heard him running back & forth looking for us. When I came out of the bathroom Otis was under the dinette table & THIS is what I saw!!!! (Look close, you'll see his head under the table!)

We leave him on his own & have never come home to a mess! Most he does when he's mad for being left behind, is knock the pillows off our bed! I left the mess till Lennie got back, for all the good it did....Lennie thinks Otis can do no wrong!
Now we're off to see the town!
This is a cute place to go see when you're here visiting Intercourse. Lots of shops & lots of sampling!
It's areal nice day, we can leave Otis in the car while Lennie gets his samples!!!

Soon enough, Len goes to the car to get Otis while I look around in the other shops!
I walk behind the shops, the farm scenery is calling for me to come bring my camera!
                                                             Good thing I was listening!!!

Come on Otis, we're going to ride through town, sorry abut those Amish horse & buggies, you may never get your bark back!?!

                                       Tomorrow's another day & more Amish.....POOR OTIS!
