October 10, 2015-Saturday-Continued.....We have just gone through Customs after our overnight visit to Montreal, Canada. Now our destination is, picking up Otis from the Pet Lodge. He will be sooooo happy to see us & all will be forgiven for leaving him there!?!
I know Otis wants to go right back to the RV to get some quality spoiling time but.....we are so close to the town where Clinton Correctional Facility is.....you know the one that was in the news after 2 prisoners escaped with inside help from a woman employee......we just wanted to take a drive by, not staying!!!!
When we got back to the RV Park......surprise surprise,.....there were lots of campers! This is the RV Park's last open weekend & this weekend is the busiest weekend for the area. Between Leaf Peepers, Columbus Day, which is also Canadian Thanksgiving......there's going to be a lot of traffic!
Okay Otis.....let's go inside & get spoiled!!!! By the way.....Otis has NO voice, or should I say...BARK, from crying for us while he was at the Pet Lodge!
October 11, 2015-Sunday-Today's sightseeing takes place in Vermont!!! But first we enjoy our last Chinese pastry! Yummy!!!! Then we head out to enjoy what Vermont has to offer in the way of Fall Foliage! Otis still can't bark out loud!

The scenery continues!
These waterfalls, from this view, power lines & a dilapidated building hide the falls.
But driving around on a back road, & walking down a narrow gravel road, you get this view!
This bridge was at the top of the waterfalls.
We stumbled on to this park after leaving the waterfalls at the power plant.

YES!!! This is a camel & we weren't the only car pulling over to take a picture!!!

We are on our way back to the RV park In Plattsburg & just for the fun of it we're taking a little shortcut. We're going back to New York via the Ferry across Lake Champlain!
All aboard! We had no waiting time, we arrived just in time to load! Perfect timing!!!

We went to a nearby Deli & I got my favorite sandwich (the turkey gobbler) Len got a turkey Reuben , Otis had bites from both sandwiches. He still can't bark so he must have a sore throat!?!
We also had entertainment. These 2 labs were enjoying the water. The yellow lab picked up a big rock from the bottom & carried it to his master. That dog had some strong jaws, the rock was almost as big as the dog's head!
Our picnic is over but our scenery continues!

What a full day of leaf peeping! The foliage is just awesome! Tomorrow morning we leave, time to check out another state's leaves!!!!
Is that Lake Champlain? So pretty. My Vt. cuz just came back from there on a day trip to North Hero. I forgot to tell you that when I was out looking for some 'color' the other day, I saw a 'turtle crossing' sign. I've never seen one before. I was going to turn around and get a photo, but I was on a road where I didn't know where I was going. So, I just kept on driving!!! I bet the ferry ride was fun. How long did it take? Good photos.
