The Adirondacks Lots of Scenic drives!

October 5, 2015-Monday-  Time to leave Mt. Morris, coffee's ready & we are too!

Come on Otis......we're leaving, there's a new adventure just waiting for us! I will have to admit, that after walking down 832 steps yesterday, muscles I didn't even know I had are sore!!!We really enjoyed our time here, we leave now for the Adirondack Mountain Region where we hope the leaves are alive with color!

                                                                         Here we go!

 Oh-Oh, we're stopping for a car wash before going to the Campgrounds! Keep an eye on it Otis!!!

We have arrived at our campgrounds!Plattsburgh RV Park, where else.....Plattsburgh, New York!

                                                                It's a large RV Park,

                                                            checking in at the office.....

The park also has cabins to rent.

It's mostly for seasonal campers. The season ends October 15th. The owner drove Lennie around in a golf cart then told him, "Pick any spot you want!"

                           We chose an end spot, we have the area pretty much to ourselves!!!

October 6, 2015-Tuesday-Our  sightseeing while we're in this area will consist of scenic drives. We've never been in this area of New York before, we've really missed out on a lot!!!

Time to go back to the RV, unfortunately nothing is simmering in the crock pot!!!

October 7, 2015-Wednesday-   We have been lucky with the weather, perfect for checking out the fall foliage!I'm thinking instead of coffee in the morning we should be having hot apple cider to make it feel more fallish! We have no real plans in our sight seeing, we just get in the car & drive! Sooooo, let's see what's next!?!

I "FORCED" Otis to ride in the back seat(not for long) & he was insulted but....he's on my lap every mile we drive & every time we stop for a pictures, I have to get him out of the way before I can even get out to snap the picture....& he is a dog!?!

This is a place Lennie found while doing research! It's a laundromat, gift shop, & donut shop!

We were only there for the donuts!!!
