Our destination today is Minneapolis, Minnesota. We were just short of our destination when we pulled into the Welcome Campground for the night! Therefore we're in no real hurry to leave this morning, well not like yesterday morning anyhow!!! Good! We linger over breakfast, we don't have a lot to do this morning in preparation of leaving. For just one night we didn't even set anything up! After getting dressed I take my coffee out to the picnic table while Lennie cleans the windshield.
We have a slight roadblock, in the form of a car, delaying our departure! Sometime after we we to bed last night(11:00pm) someone unknown to us, pulled in & parked in front of us???? Good thing we weren't leaving at 7:00am or the RV park would have heard some LOUD air horns!!!
Otis & I chill while Lennie went to the park manager to find out who belonged to the car blocking us!?!
She had to knock on 3 different RV doors till she found the Mystery Owner! He apologized, moved the car & by now we were ready to roll! Cornfields & soybeans is all I saw the rest of the distance between Welcome & Minneapolis, Minn.
We are staying at the Mystic Lake Casino & Hotel!
Noooooo we're not gamblers, but the Casinos have RV parks separate from the Casino & Hotel at good prices $$$$$ This Casino is owned by a branch of the Sioux Indians. They also had.....an RV wash & we were in need of both a car & an RV wash!
Car or RV washes make Otis nervous!
but he can't be running around the car wash so he has to sit inside by himself.....

We're done, time to set up our site. We'll be here a week, setting up everything, & then...time to relax, It is HOT here!!!
Dinner tonight is one of our favorites!! Black beans on rice with plantains!! But it's really going to heat the kitchen up!

We took Otis on top of a hilltop for his walk, & continued walking around the RV park. I thought for a casino RV park it would be a gravel parking lot! It's cement pads & grass!
Oh yeah, if you don't have your own RV, you can rent a Tee Pee! For real!
Tomorrow it's suppose to be even hotter than it was today. We're going to go walk around the mall,& suck up their A/C!!! But not just any mall....we're going to walk around....

That is really a nice campground for a Casino. I thought most places are just boondocking in a parking lot. This one looks quite pleasant. It is still SOOOOOO HOTTTTTTT here!!!! UGH!!!
