I'm not in any hurry to get this day started! After our regular breakfast routine we're going into town to the laundromat. Needless to say I took my time having breakfast & didn't hurry Otis for his morning potty walk! I gather the laundry & Lennie carries it out to the car, we may as well get it over with!!! It took us a while to even find a laundromat! There definitely wasn't one in Drake!!!! We went into Loveland,Co to do laundry. First we just drove around aimlessly looking for a laundromat, there's one on every corner till you need one! Then we stopped for lunch & to use our cell phone to find the laundromat!
No picnic today! We had CULVER'S! I thought I was going to have to wait until we get to Illinois to have a Culver's
I wanted a Butter Burger real bad, but settled for a grilled chicken sandwich!
Took this picture to text to Tammy as 2 of our grand kids, Brittney & Brett, work at Culver's, but I didn't even get the Culver's logo in the picture! During lunch Lennie used his cell phone to find a laundromat. Great, I can't wait to get done eating!
Much to my surprise, as we drove toward the laundry location, Len pulled into a OUTLET Mall. I say much to my surprise because this man hates to shop! He had a goal in mind tho! He was hoping they had a LEVI store at the outlet, they did! Good timing too, he wanted some Levi boot cut jeans in his new size....turns out, Levi is discontinuing boot cut jeans....they were on sale for $19.00 a pair!!! Yes he bought several pairs at that price!!!!
Now I was feeling a little left out! I didn't need any jeans, but I felt like I "needed" something!?! We stopped at a JoAnn Fabric to fuel my need! It was the BEST Jo Ann Fabric I've been in, they had sooooo much ruffle yarn in there. Not just end caps with ruffle yarn, aisles of it! I could have stayed in there for hours, but that wouldn't have gotten the laundry done! I made my selection paid & we continued to the laundromat!
I hate doing laundry at the laundromat, I don't care how nice the place is!?!
There's only one thing to do & that's do it & get it over with! I only needed 3 machines, not bad at all!
Lennie's goal when we left the RV late this morning, he didn't care how long it took us to run errands, & laundry as long as we got home in time to make a pizza so he could watch the Nascar Race on TV!!! We did some unexpected shopping g(Levi outlet & Jo Ann fabric) & some necessary shopping at Sams Club, we only needed a few things. On the way back to the RV, we still had time to take a few scenic shots!
No matter when you stop along the Big Thompson River, you always see someone Fly fishing!
We need to get on down the road if we're going to meet Lennie's goal. We still have 1 more stop to make!!!!
Yes....Otis got a McDoubles!
& I got the pizza made so Len could watch Nascar!
And everyone was HAPPY!!!!
