This morning we're not wasting any time. We've got a drive ahead of us! I say "WE" but Lennie is the only one that does the driving! We're leaving Drake,Colorado,our new destination is Three Flags RV Park in Black Hawk, S. Dakota. Black Hawk is our new hub for sight seeing in Rapid City & surrounding points of interest.
After a quick breakfast we start our departure! I hate to leave this sight, but....there are more sights to be seen!
I take Otis out as Lennie finishes up on the outside.
We're ready & Otis thinks he's ready but....
you can NOT ride on the dash!!
We pulled out sharply at 8:00am. That was Lennie's deadline! Here we go rolling down the highway!
Is this still Colorado? What happened to those beautiful mountains that blocked out our cell & Internet service!?! This is the Colorado flat lands! Three hours into our drive & we came to a town called Lost Springs, Colorado. Population 4!!!!
Oh give me a Home where the Buffalo roam....

& soon we crossed the Wyoming state line!
& it was time for a fill-up
While Lennie is gassing up, I take Otis out for a potty break! We can't believe what we see!!! We see a lady walking a SHEEP a black sheep at that!
It may look like a standard poodle, but look close, that's a sheep, & I saw her & her husband loading it in the back of their pick up truck! We got our gas, time to roll on!
"Hey Dad, did you see that lady walking
that sheep!?!" (Needless to say, we don't know if it was a Ewe or a Ram?)
We stopped for lunch in a rest area, right at noon. I really think Lennie plans our departure time so we taking our first Rest Stop break at NOON & we arrive at our destination at dinner time!?!

& then we see the sign for Three Flags RV Park!!! We made it & guess what time it is!?! 5:30pm, isn't that dinner time!?!
This RV Park has laundry facilities that are open 24 hours! Great! Some night when I bored, I'll run over & throw in a load! NOT!!!
After Otis' nightly walk, we just chill out!
Len needs to relax after the drive today!Part of his idea of relaxing is planning our sight seeing!!!
I wonder what we're going to do tomorrow!?!
