Our sightseeing differs from state to state, town to town depending where we are & what the local points of interest are.We already knew from last nights weather that today was going to be too hot to do anything!?! We determined the only thing to do was go walk around The Mall of America & suck up their A/C!?! That means Otis has to stay behind in the RV & suck up our A/C!?!
We didn't rush right out this morning, took our time over breakfast & Otis morning walk. It is warm out! See ya later Otis....enjoy the A/C
Dakota Meadows, the RV park connected to the casino, provides a bus to the Mall Of America. We drove our own car just in case we wanted to make other stops!!!The mall isn't too far from the RV Park, but due to construction the exit we needed was closed! One quick detour & we arrived!
This mall boast being the largest in the states. the only mall bigger than the Mall of America is a mall in Edmonton, Canada, which we explored a couple of years ago, it even had a wave pool & hockey rink, plus a oriental grocery store inside of the mall!!!! Mall of America has plenty to offer shoppers. Besides more stores than I could look in....it has a big amusement park, & giant Lego land where kids can create their own ideas!
Somebody has some real creative talent here!
But the mall wasn't geared just for kids! Noooo it had some adult things to do too, like lunch! The food court left you with way too many choices!?! We settled for CHINESE!
Or may be it was Japanese at any rate, it was good!!!
& after much walking.....this mall has 3 floors! We thought we earned a dessert treat & stopped at Frezia for frozen FAT-FREE yogurt!
We both chose German chocolate swirl with Carmel topping!
This man LOVES peeps!
Now he doesn't have to wait till Easter to enjoy his Peeps!
Now he's ready to leave the mall! We drive back to Otis at the RV park. It's still too warm to sit outside.....we stay in the RV but everyone around us is either off gambling or staying inside their RVs too! I work on my scarf while Lennie works on our tourist activities!
There was no designated dog walk, but there's plenty of grass here!
The office is not called the OFFICE but rather, HEADQUARTERS!?!

Now we had to walk our yogurt off! We were getting tired of the mall, the only thing we bought was food! The favorite food Lennie bought was not our lunch or dessert, it was his snack for later!

I guess we had tooooo much for lunch, we decided soup & a salad would be enough for dinner! I like easy dinners. It doesn't make Otis happy, he always expects a little handout at dinner time!
